Thank you for all the very nice comments on my mountain trip pictures. A few folks said they didn't realize that arizona looked like that. Todays image is more along the lines of how it is perceived. Don't be fooled, we have many secrets. I took this before heading up into the mountains.
Just love the angle! The light from behind makes it come alive... as if it breathes. Well done!

this cactus just jumps out at you. Nice shot. I love the fact that through this photo blog we are able to discover everyones secret places from all around the world.

Except that for Arizona I also imagine dry desert sand and burned white skies to go with it. Here it looks like it might actually rain.

That halo effect is cool! Is HDR part of your photoediting software? I'm not that familiar with it, but I 'm a fan of what it does! =-)
