@amy: I need to talk to you about layers. I am clueless when it comes to that. This is a straight shot with some HDR processing. Hopefully you will let me pick your brain.

Fascinating image, I love the colors, textures, and frozen feel, like amber or ice. I usually just don't get the appeal of HDR, but this is really nice.
